Cookie Policy

What cookies we use, why, and how you can control them. The same policy applies on south-ledger.com and south-ledgers.com.

Effective 23 October 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves on your device. They let the site remember you and work properly. Similar technologies include local storage and device identifiers in our apps; this policy covers those too.

2. Cookies we use

Essential

Needed for the site to work, such as keeping you logged in and remembering that you saw this notice. These can't be switched off.

We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. The chat on the site stores its conversation id in your browser's local storage, not in an advertising cookie.

The staff console uses separate sign-in cookies on the admin host. They are not set on the public website.

4. Third-party services

We load typefaces from Google Fonts. That provider may receive your IP address when the font files are requested. We do not use an advertising or analytics partner on these pages.

5. Managing cookies

You can delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, sign-in will not work. Cookie settings in the footer explains what is used.

6. Changes

We may update this policy when our use of cookies changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
